Eco tip: Cleaning paint rollers

Eco tip: Cleaning paint rollers accompanying image

Water loss is a growing environmental issue. Cleaning paint rollers requires large quantities of water, which is often left unsuitable for re-use.

Enter this nifty gadget from Bunnings Warehouse. Excess paint is scraped away when the roller is inserted into the tube, then water is pushed through at high pressure, cleaning it quickly and with a lesser volume than is usually required. The polluted water is neatly kept, allowing you to dispose of it safely.
