Seeking inspiration is the first step to understanding your own taste in interiors. Designing a room from scratch is exciting but it can also be intimidating. The best way to develop a clear plan is to collate a file of images for each room.
The next step is to analyse the collection systematically to help interpret your style. Delving into the elements of a picture will quickly demonstrate exactly what appeals to you – rather than ‘loving that kitchen’, it might be the clock or the deep drawers, or even the handles that caught your eye.
Make notes as you go and you’ll soon find a concrete list of the specific items that create the look you’re after.
