While away the hours on a chilly winter eve. Knitting is another classic pastime that has found its way back into the spotlight. A scarf is an amusing trifle for expert knitters and a great place to start for beginners. Light layers and a pared-down look are big again this winter; add a sense of proportion with a chunky, textured scarf in your favourite colour.
We love this Paton’s scarf for its substantial weight and funky details. Designed as a men’s scarf, we added a feminine twist by choosing a soft, dusky pink wool. If you’re feeling generous, you could knit him one of his own, or choose a neutral colour (charcoal or chocolate work well) and share.

| Apart from making lovely things to wear, like scarves and jumpers, knitting is also a great way to lose weight. Keeping your hands busy while watching T.V. keeps your mind off food and I find I don't snack, in the evenings......... |
