SIDS and kids is the not-for-profit organisation behind the annual Red Nose Day on June 30. Formerly the National SIDS Council of Australia, SIDS and Kids is primarily concerned with reducing the infant mortality rate and providing support services for families following stillbirth or the sudden death of a child.

Every day, three babies are stillborn in Australia. This years Red Nose Day campaign will focus on stillbirth. The money raised on Red Nose Day goes towards these services and provides funding for research and education programs covering SIDS and stillbirth.

SIDS and Kids Victoria provide bereavement support to anyone whose child has died suddenly and unexpectedly from 20 weeks gestation to 6 years of age regardless of the cause of death.  The support is provided free of charge and is ongoing for as long as required.

Snugglebum will kindly donate all proceeds from the sale of the teddy bear sleepwear range to SIDS and Kids Victoria.
