Buy a digital camera

The upside of owning a digital camera is being able to instantly view and save the images you like, then delete the rest. But with so many digital cameras on the market, how do you go about buying one that’s best for you?
Four points to consider when shopping for a digital camera are ease of use, size, number of pixels and price. Mini digital cameras tend to be slim-line and easy to use. But bear in mind that the smaller the camera, the smaller the buttons, so ensure you find a digital camera where you won’t be fumbling for the right button at crucial moments.
The more pixels your camera has, the better the photo quality and subsequently, the higher the price. For everyday shots, you shouldn’t need anything greater than five megapixels. Deciding to buy a photo dock with your camera can make the experience a little simpler, as it narrows the field of options.
Digital cameras contain memory cards that can be plugged into your PC or taken to a developer to print images. Even better, Epson, Canon and Kodak all sell photo docks that allow you to plug in your camera and print at home.
