Simple pet care can help reduce hair and smells in the home. The first step is to bathe and brush pets regularly. A lint brush will pick up loose hairs on the sofa; use the upholstery attachment for stubborn patches; don a pair of dampened rubber gloves and run your hands over the fabric (not delicate fabrics); or wrap masking tape around your hands, sticky side out, and dab to collect the hairs. Drying your dog after a bath will cut down on funky odours. If they linger, check his coat for sticky patches then ears and teeth for infection or decay.
